NEW ORLEANS – Kayla Conway is the newest addition to the New Orleans Privateers women’s basketball team after being hired as the new Director of Basketball Operations.

Conway just finished a two-year stint at North Texas prior to coming to the Lakefront. She was a graduate assistant and manager with the Mean Green. While at North Texas, Conway coordinated all team video operations, assisted with team travel and recruiting operations.

“I am more than excited to be working with UNO women’s basketball. I feel that I am surrounded by a great staff and that I am truly meant to be here,” said Conway.

Before her days at North Texas, Conway worked at the United States Air Force Reserve as a maintenance management production scheduler. Among her duties, she has planned and directed to activities to ensure proper scheduling for assigned aircrafts and maintained historical records for weapons and support systems.

In September 2017, Conway started her first coaching job where she was an assistant on staff at James River High School.
