Karr QB Leonard Kelly of Karr named Metro Prep Player of Week
Karr senior quarterback Leonard Kelly has been named the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club, 106.1 FM NASH ICON, CrescentCitySports.com and Friday Night Football Prep Player of the Week for Week 13 of the season.
Kelly completed 15-of-17 passes for 266 yards and five touchdowns and rushed four times for 43 yards and two touchdowns in a 51-14 victory over Breaux Bridge in the Class 4A quarterfinals.
Kelly is coached by Brice Brown. He will be honored at the year-end meeting of the Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at Rock’n’Bowl at 3016 South Carrollton Avenue.
