Jose Santos

New Orleans – The New Orleans Jesters have added Jose Santos to the technical staff for the U-19 team that will play in the new NPSL pilot-league starting in September. Santos played NCAA D1 college soccer for West Virginia University and joins head Coach Igor Siskov’s staff in advance of the inaugural season.

Under the direction of New Orleans Jesters Director of Soccer Kenny Farrell the U-19 technical staff now includes head coach Igor Siscov, assistant coach Adam Toras and goalkeeper/assistant coach Jose Santos.

“Jose is a very accomplished player through his experience in West Virginia and from his time as a younger player at Archbishop Shaw,” said Farrell. “He’s ambitious to begin his coaching career and I’m looking forward to helping with his development. He’s also played for the Jesters NPSL senior team and I expect him to start in goal next season.”

A native of Marrero, La, Santos played for Archbishop Shaw High School before joining West Virginia University where he was named to the 2018 Academic All-Big 12 At-Large Team.
