At least one national website that covers high school baseball thinks John Curtis was one of the five best teams in the country this past year.

Perfect Game slotted the Patriots, repeat winners of the LHSAA Division I title, as the No. 5 team in their final rankings.

No other Louisiana team made the PG Top 50.
