The New York Jets have signed the former New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

The 35-year old Morstead worked out Tuesday since the Jets needed to replace Braden Mann, who sustained a knee injury Sunday that will keep him out at least a month.

The Saints released Morstead in March after 12-years with the team.
