Jets sign former Saints punter Thomas Morstead
The New York Jets have signed the former New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Veteran punter Thomas Morstead is signing with the #Jets, source said.
Morstead played 12 seasons with the #Saints and won a Super Bowl. Now, a fresh start in New York, which just lost Braden Mann to a knee injury.

The 35-year old Morstead worked out Tuesday since the Jets needed to replace Braden Mann, who sustained a knee injury Sunday that will keep him out at least a month.
The Saints released Morstead in March after 12-years with the team.
