Former All-American and Lou Groza Award winner Cairo Santos is now looking for another NFL gig.

The New York Jets released the four-year veteran Wednesday.

Santos has been sidelined this preseason by a recurring groin injury that led to his release last season by the Kansas City Chiefs. He ended up on injured reserve late in the year with the Chicago Bears.

The São Paulo, Brazil native who signed a one-year deal in the offseason with the Jets is now healthy but he will have to find another team to take the chance he can stay on the field.

Santos has made 84.1 percent of his field goal attempts in the league (90-of-107).
