Jesuit tops Louisiana Boys High School Cross Country large schools poll
Coming off a team win at the Catholic High Meet last weekend, Jesuit remains the top-ranked team in the state in the latest boys Louisiana Cross Country Large School rankings.
The Blue Jays received all 10 first place votes.
Ruston is second with Catholic third, Brother Martin fourth and Mandeville fifth. Belle Chasse is seventh.
St. Joseph’s Academy received all 10 first place votes and remains on top in the girls Louisiana Cross Country Large School rankings. Dominican is second with Ruston third, Vandebilt Catholic fourth and Teurlings Catholic fifth. Mount Carmel is sixth with Mandeville seventh and St. Scholastica eighth.
In the small school rankings, Dunham is the unanimous No. 1, with all 10 first-place votes in the boys rankings. University High is second with Parkview Baptist third, Episcopal fourth and Episcopal of Acadiana fifth. Christ Episcopal is seventh with Newman tenth.
In the girls small school rankings, Episcopal of Acadiana is first with Episcopal second. Episcopal of Acadiana got seven first place votes while the Knights received three. E.D. White Catholic is third with Christ Episcopal is fourth and Newman fifth. Sacred Heart of New Orleans is ninth with St. Thomas Aquinas tenth.
