Jesuit, St. Joseph’s top latest Louisiana state coaches cross country rankings

Jesuit and St. Joseph’s top the new Louisiana coaches Cross Country rankings.
The defending girls Division I state champion Redstickers received all 10 first place votes on the girls side with Mount Carmel Academy second. Byrd is third with E.D. White Catholic fourth and Newman fifth. Vandebilt Catholic is No. 6.
Defending boys Division I state champion Jesuit is the unanimous choice on the boys side, receiving all 10 first place votes. Brother Martin is second with Parkway third. Catholic of Baton Rouge is fourth and Ruston places fifth. Newman checks in at No. 8 with Central Lafourche ninth.
