Jesuit dominant in bowling win over Holy Rosary

Jesuit used a total team effort in a 25-2 bowling victory over Holy Rosary Tuesday at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner.

All 10 Blue Jays saw action, led by a 598 series from Alex Barron.

Barron’s 213 and a 193 from Alex O’Neil helped stake Jesuit to an 8-0 lead after the first game.

In the second game, Barron shot 214 and his five teammates all had games between 185 and 192 as the Blue Jays clinched the match by taking a 15-1 lead.

Mason French came off the bench with a 211 for Jesuit in the final game, while Ben Hunn turned in a 205.

Jesuit finished with a 3,291 team series. O’Neil was the only Blue Jays bowler besides Barron to compete in all three games, rolling a 538 series.

Jude Taylor led Holy Rosary with a 559 series, including a 245 final game. Sam Picnot finished with a 526.

Jesuit heads to Bowling USA in Slidell Thursday to take on Chalmette, while Holy Rosary meets Archbishop Rummel at AMF.
