Jesters fall in first round of playoffs against Revolution to end season
The 2018 season came to an end Tuesday night for the New Orleans Jesters.
The Georgia Revolution took a two goal lead and held off the Jesters 3-2 in the opening round of the National Premier Soccer League South region playoffs at Pan American Stadium.
Eahjayson Henry put the Revolution on top in the 15th minute and Georgia led 1-0 at halftime.
Isaac Promise scored in the 63rd minute and it was 2-0 before New Orleans fought back on a goal by Oliver Roberts in the 65th minute and it was 2-1.
Georgia padded the lead in the 78th minute on a goal by Jumar Oakley but the Jesters again battled back to within a goal as Roberts put his second in the net in the 80th minute to make it 3-2 but New Orleans could not find the equalizer.
The Jesters finished their season 7-6-2.
