The New Orleans Jesters play Port City FC on Saturday night at Pan American Stadium; gates open at 6 p.m. with kick off set for 7. The Jesters are looking for their first victory of the season after drawing with AFC Mobile in the season opener and then losing narrowly last weekend at Southern States.

Head coach Kenny Farrell is looking forward to the match:

“The players have been working very hard this week in training and are determined to give a strong performance this weekend.  We have created a lot of chances in the first two matches and our focus is to continue with that approach and it’s my belief that we will bring home a good result.”

The Jesters have scored goals in both games played this season with newcomer Sheldon Green and team captain Mason Walsh both hitting the back of the net for New Orleans.

Port City FC are also looking for their first win of the season having opened their campaign with a 2-0 loss versus Southern States and 2-1 loss versus AFC Mobile; forward Guilherme Bittencourt registered the lone Port City goal scored so far.

Following the game versus Port City FC the Jesters will continue its homestand with a Memorial Day weekend fixture versus Jacksonville Armada.
