Tulane freshman guard JerKaila Jordan announced via Twitter Friday afternoon that she is entering the NCAA’s transfer portal.

The former John Curtis star indicated she hopes to find a home “in a bigger conference.”

Jordan, the American Athletic Conference’s Freshman of the Year, averaged a team-high 16.7 points per game in her first college season. The Green Wave finished 18-9 and won a game in the WNIT.

Her announcement comes on the same day the program released the news that all four seniors from this year’s Tulane roster intend to return for another season.
