With the No. 5 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals selected former LSU and Archbishop Rummel wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

The 2019 Biletnikoff Award winner and national championship teammate of Joe Burrow rejoins his quarterback in Cincinnati. Chase led the nation with 20 touchdown receptions with the 15-0 Tigers.

The 6-foot, 201-pound Chase played in 14 games with 84 grabs and an SEC single-season record 1,780 yards to earn unanimous All-American acclaim. He opted out of the 2020 season but still became the first wide receiver selected in the draft.
