Jake Delhomme

Former Ragin’ Cajuns quarterback Jake Delhomme is one of four players being added to the exclusive Hall of Honor for the NFL’s Carolina Panthers.

Delhomme will be joined by offensive tackle Jordan Gross, receiver Steve Smith Sr. and tight end Wesley Walls, according to a posting Monday morning on team’s website.

Delhomme, who was inducted to UL Lafayette’s Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in 2014, capped the 2003 season by leading Carolina to Super Bowl XXXVIII, won by the New England Patriots in Houston. He started his NFL career with the New Orleans Saints.
