Jesuit quarterback Jack Larriviere has been named as the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Prep Player of the Week in the Greater New Orleans area for week three by CrescentCitySports.com, Ken Trahan’s Original Prep Football Report on NASH ICON 106.1 FM, the Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club and for Friday Night Football on WNOL/WGNO.

A senior, Larriviere completed 10-of-16 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns and rushed 22 times for 44 yards as Jesuit beat John Curtis Christian 17-13, the first win for the Blue Jays over the Patriots since 2014. Larriviere is coached by Ryan Manale.

“Jack has the ‘it’ factor,” Manale said. “He’s a leader on and off the field. I couldn’t be proper how he handles this football team, the classroom, the weight room. He represents Jesuit High School with great pride and humility. What’s great about him is he’s eager to keep growing and improving. We are blessed to have him in our program and representing Jesuit.”

Larriviere will be honored at the year-end meeting of the Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club on Dec. 14 at Rock’n’Bowl.
