Injury Report: Thomas, Landry, Lattimore ruled out for Saints vs. Raiders

The wide receiver corps for the Saints can’t seem to catch too many breaks when it comes to injuries.

For the fourth game in a row, New Orleans will be without Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry.

Saints head coach Dennis Allen announced Friday that both players have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Landry has missed the last three games with an ankle injury and Thomas has missed the team’s last four with an unspecified foot injury.

“I think he’s (Michael Thomas) getting better. I think Jarvis is getting better. The timetable is when they can effectively come out and perform, then they’ll be out here. Both of those guys, all of those guys, are working their tails off to get healthy. Look, I’m not a doctor. I don’t know exactly how the body works and all of those things and the healing processes and that type of stuff. I know our guys are working extremely hard to try to get back out here. They want to be out here and help the team,” Allen said Friday.

Top cornerback Marshon Lattimore was also ruled out for Sunday as expected.

Five other Saints including tight ends Adam Trautman and Juwon Johnson are questionable.

Meanwhile, a slew of Raiders are questionable including star wideout Devante Adams and tight end Darren Waller but none have been ruled out this week.

New Orleans (2-5) hosts Las Vegas (2-4) at noon Sunday.
