The Jaguars’ Ty Williams had eight RBIs, six in the second game. XULA’s only lead of the doubleheader was 2-1 in the third inning of the first game — Deionte Norris singled home D’Aires Davis with one out.

Norris had four hits in the doubleheader, and the Gold Rush got doubles from Dillon Cousin, Jonathan Santos and Lawrence Steed and a pinch-hit triple from Calabe Collins.

XULA is 9-8 overall and 3-6 in the RRAC; Houston-Victoria is 10-13 and 4-2. XULA will travel to Tougaloo (Tougaloo, Miss.) for a noon CST non-conference doubleheader Tuesday.
