Haynes Academy’s Aubrie Claverie signs with North Alabama softball

Aubrie Claverie, Class of 2023, from Haynes Academy for Advanced Studies, celebrated her signing with the University of North Alabama’s softball team. She was committed last year as a junior.

Aubrie has been a starter on the Haynes Varsity softball team since 8th grade and was named All-District every year, including District MVP in 2022.

“Aubrie has been a key to our team’s success over the years. She leads by example with her work ethic and commitment to her sport as well as her academics.” says Haynes soft coach Dawn Whitmer.

Aubrie Calverie, a 2023 graduate of Haynes Academy for Advanced Studies in Metairie, LA maintains a 4.3 GPA, is an active member in National Honor Society and Rho Kappa Honor Society. Haynes Academy for Advanced Studies is the highest ranked public high school in the state of Louisiana.

When she is not playing softball, Aubrie dedicates her time to volunteering. During Hurricane Ida, Aubrie went to Lake Charles to help with the clean up efforts. Earlier this year she volunteered at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church preparing the church for mass and cleaning up the Parishioners Center.
