Harlan Dixon of Slidell named GNO QB Club Prep Player of Week
Slidell senior running back Harlan Dixon has been named the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club, CrescentCitySports.com, 106.1 FM NASH ICON and Friday Night Football Prep Player of the Week for week nine.
Last Friday night against Fontainebleau, Dixon had 18 carries for 180 yards with three touchdowns and caught three passes for 73 yards including a fourth touchdown. Dixon also completed a pass for 17 yards and had two tackles on defense at free safety.
A Louisiana Tech commit, Dixon is coached by Larry Favre. He will be honored at the year-end meeting of the Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club on Dec. 17 at Rock’n’Bowl.
