Greg Battistella enjoyed an outstanding playing career at Holy Cross High School and the University of New Orleans. As a coach, he was outstanding at Holy Cross for many years and served as athletic director as well.

Now at Lakeshore High School, he has done an outstanding job as head baseball coach and assistant football coach.

A man of faith, things were going quite well for Battistella until Aug. 25, 2017.

The hashtag “Battstrong” has trended ever since and Ochsher even has a page on him as he serves as a great example of how to deal with adversity.

Come hear a message of encouragement in tough times from Greg Battistella at the weekly Life Resources Bottom Line Luncheon this Wednesday, June 20 at noon at Piccadilly Cafeteria, 2222 Clearview Parkway in Metairie. All are welcome to attend.
