The Greater New Orleans Football Association (GNOFOA) has openings for officials for the upcoming high school football season.

As the stewards and guardians of the game, officiating is a very important part of the game for all schools and student-athletes participating.

Many officials have played or coached the game and it is a great way to stay connected to football while earning additional income and having an opportunity to network with fellow officials while building relationships with coaches.

The opportunity to discover what it entails to be an official occurs on Monday, July 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Rock’n’Bowl at 3016 South Carrollton Avenue in New Orleans.

The first training meeting will take place on July 19 at Country Day High School at 300 Park Road in Metairie.

For additional information, contact Eddie Allemore, Regional Coordinator of Officials for the GNOFOA at (985) 773-2928 or at eallemo@gmail.com.
