Girls Bowling: Chapelle sets school record in win over Cabrini

Archbishop Chapelle fired a school-record 1,132 in the opening game en route to a 26-1 victory Monday over Cabrini at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner.

Gabrielle Fischer’s 226 and Sarah Rubi’s 205 led the Chipmunks (3-0) in the opening game.

Rubi had a 613 series and Jessica Ladd had a 221 final game for a 607 series, as Chapelle finished with a 3,250 team set.

Calley Chauvin led the Crescents (1-2) with a 508 series.

Kenner Discovery 23, St. Therese 4: At AMF, the Swamp Owls improved to 2-0 with a win over the Phoenix.

Tessie Cahill led Kenner Discovery with a 418 series while Madison Lemoine had a 156 middle game. Kaylor Grimm paced St. Therese (0-2) with a 156 opening game.
