Girls Bowling: Chapelle blanks St. Michael

The top-rated team in Louisiana girls bowling keeps rolling along.

Archbishop Chapelle remained unbeaten Wednesday with a 27-0 victory over St. Michael the Archangel at All Star Lanes in Baton Rouge.

The Chipmunks (8-0), who were No. 1 in the latest unofficial LHSAA power ratings released Monday, rolled a 2,839 team series, including a 1,037 final game.

Madalyn Haas led the way for Chapelle with a 628 series, including games of 214 and 234. Sarah Rubi had a 587 set.

Edie Sanders’ 163 final game and 392 series led a shorthanded squad for St. Michael (2-6).
