Girls Bowling: Cabrini, Patrick Taylor pick up wins

Cabrini closed fast for an 18-9 victory over Kenner Discovery Monday at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner.

The Crescents (2-3) led 7-1 after the opening game, but the Swamp Owls (1-4) pulled within 9-7 after two.

Led by Jennifer Luna’s 168 and Leah Heller’s 160, Cabrini won six of eight points in the final game and secured the three points for total pins.

Luna had a 480 series and Heller a 465. Aislynn Adams’ middle game 187 led Kenner Discovery.

Patrick Taylor 21, Slidell 6: A 200 final game from Gabrielle Viviano helped lift Patrick Taylor over Slidell in the matchup of Tigers at Westside Lanes in Harvey.

Viviano finished with a 529 series to lead Patrick Taylor (3-2), who led 5-3 after one game and 11-5 after two.

Brenna Mackie’s 179 middle game paced Slidell (0-4).
