Girls Bowling: AOL, Cabrini, Kenner Discovery take Monday victories

Academy of Our Lady rolled to a 24-3 victory over Slidell Monday at Westside Lanes in Harvey.

Gabrielle Jenkins’ 171 keyed an opening-game sweep for AOL (6-3), which clinched the match after two games. Laney Sasso added a 171 in the final game.

Micaila Morin’s 123 was the best of the day for Slidell (0-7).

Cabrini 25, Patrick Taylor 2: The Crescents were easy winners over the Tigers at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner.

Jennifer Luna finished with a 212 for a 562 series to lead Cabrini (5-3). Leah Heller also had a 182 final game as the Crescents fired a season-best 918 in game three.

Gabrielle Viviano’s middle-game 147 was the best of the day for Patrick Taylor (3-4).

Kenner Discovery 20, Mount Carmel 7: The Swamp Owls topped the Cubs as both teams celebrated senior day at AMF.

Aislynn Adams had a 483 series to lead Kenner Discovery (2-5).

Emily Heller’s 159 opening game was the best of the day for Mount Carmel (2-6).
