Four Rummel games to air on WGSO 990 AM, starting Saturday night

For the 17th consecutive year, Archbishop Rummel Raiders football games will air on WGSO 990 AM New Orleans and at

Rummel athletic Hall of Fame inductees Ken Trahan (Class of ’75) and former Raiders head coach Easten Roth return to handle play-by-play and color duties while former Rummel assistant coach Rick Gaille will again join the broadcast team for select games.

At least two of the games will be simulcast with live video at Those live streams will be announced in the near future.

The first Rummel game broadcast is set for this Saturday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. when the Raiders host Gulfport (Miss.) at Joe Yenni Stadium. The broadcast will begin with the pre-game show at 6:45 p.m.

The games are sponsored by Archbishop Rummel High School and Raider alumni John Theriot of Malcolm Dienes, LLC, Nick Impastato and Acacia Financial Group, Kenner Councilman Dominick Impastato, Michael Dubuc of Edward Jones Financial Investments, Matt Colosino and Crescent Power Systems, Trey Adams and Enterprise Restoration, Bono Law Firm and John and Michael Bono and Eddie Corcoran and Allstate Insurance.

Sat., Sept. 2–Rummel vs. Gulfport, 7 p.m.
Sat., Sept. 16–Rummel vs. Riverside, 7 p.m.
Sat., Sept. 30–Rummel vs. Shaw, 2 p.m.
Sat., Oct. 21–Rummel vs. BM, 7 p.m.
