Last year, Deonte Harty switched to a new last name. Now he’s switching NFL teams.

The former Saints return specialist and wide receiver is signing with the Buffalo Bills.

The former undrafted free agent out of Assumption was a find for New Orleans, earning All-Pro honors as a rookie return man. Harty (formerly Harris) also emerged as a weapon on offense with his quickness and blazing speed.

However, the 5-foot-6, 170 pounder played just four games last season while slowed by a toe injury. He had just two receptions for 13 yards in 2022. The previosu season, Harty caught 36 passes for 570 yards with three touchdowns.

The 25-year old Harty has career averages of 25.4 yards per kick return and 9.8 yards per punt return.
