Former Saints DL Kentavius Street agrees to one-year contract with Eagles

The Eagles are signing Saints free agent defensive tackle Kentavius Street to a one-year contract, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Eagles are signing former Saints DT Kentavius Street, per sources. Street racked up six sacks for the Saints last season on the 518 snaps he played. Street now joins safety Justin Evans as the second free agent this off-season to go from New Orleans to Philadelphia.

Set to turn 27 in May, Street signed with New Orleans last offseason after four years with San Franscisco. He was originally a fourth-round pick of the 49ers in the 2018 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-2, 280-pound Street had career bests this past season in total tackles (29), quarterback hits (8), sacks (3.5), and pass deflections (1).
With the departure of Street, David Onyemata and Shy Tuttle this offseason, the Saints have retained only one veteran (Malcolm Roach) from last year’s defensive tackle rotation.
