Former Rummel running back Logan Diggs announces intent to transfer from Notre Dame

Former Archbishop Rummel standout running back Logan Diggs announced on social media Thursday that he is entering the transfer portal after two seasons at Notre Dame.

In two college seasons, Diggs has accounted for 1,319 scrimmage yards and 10 touchdowns. Notre Dame’s leader in carries last season totaling 822 on the grous has averaged 4.8 yards on 217 career rushing attempts.

The former three-star recruit was signed when LSU head coach Brian Kelly was in charge of the Fightin’ Irish.

The 6-foot, 214-pound Diggs has two years of eligibility remaining.
