LSU has given me experiences and opportunities that I will forever be grateful. I can’t describe how blessed I am to have called Baton Rouge home for 4 years. #FOREVERLSU
Having said that, I am super excited about this next chapter in my life at Oklahoma State. Go Pokes! pic.twitter.com/evOZT1WcqQ

In his final start of a breakout 2017 freshman campaign, Walker left the mound with a ligament injury that required Tommy John surgery. He missed all of 2018.
The Arlington, Tex. native went 5-4 with a 5.47 ERA in 15 starts during the 2019 season. Walker pitched in 5 2/3 innings over five games with a 3.18 ERA in the 2020 season shortened due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Walker earned freshman All-America acclaim in 2017 with a 8-2 record and 3.48 ERA as a weekend starter for the Tigers in their run to Omaha and the CWS title series.
Former LSU catcher Brock Mathis previously transferred to Oklahoma State after the 2019 season.
