Former LSU linebacker Zavier Carter transfers to UNLV
Zavier Carter, a four-star prospect in the 2021 signing class, has transferred to UNLV.

The former LSU linebacker will have two seasons plus redshirt year with the Runnin’ Rebels.
The 6-foot-4, 193-pound Atlanta, Georgia product appeared in 18 games for the Tigers, accumulating 9.0 tackles and a sack against Purdue in the recent Citrus Bowl.
Carter has struggled maintaining adequate weight. Slippery as a pass rusher, he was buried on the depth chart during his time at LSU and was seeking more playing time.
