Former LSU defensive lineman Joseph Evans transfers to UTSA

Joseph Evans, once considered a future prospect along the defensive line at LSU, has found a new college football home at UTSA.
The 6-foot-1, 306 pounder played in 13 games for the Tigers, recording 28 stops. He participated in only 4 games this past season, not visible following the Auburn game Oct. 2nd. The staff toyed with the idea of moving Evans to center, but that was only a temporary experiment.
The former 3-star signee in the 2019 class out of Haynesville was well respected by teammates and line mates on both sides of the ball due to his dedication and hard work
Evans will be immediately eligible to play in CUSA for the Roadrunners and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
