Denver Broncos wide receiver Carlos Henderson has been suspended without pay for the first game of the 2018 regular season after violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, the league announced Wednesday.

The McDonogh 35 alum was a 2017 third round pick out of Louisiana Tech. He missed his rookie season in Denver with a thumb injury.

Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports Henderson was suspended for an arrest in January for marijuana possession in West Monroe.
