Former John Curtis standout Garret Wallow is staying in the Lonestar state.

Taken Saturday with the 170th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the TCU linebacker is headed to the Houston Texans.

A former high school safety for the Patriots, the 6-foot-2, 230-pound developed in a multi-time All-Big XII selection at linebacker.

Houston gave up a seventh round pick in a tradw with the L.A. Rams to move up four spots to pick Wallow.
