Former De La Salle standout Quincy Cage transfers to Nicholls
Former De La Salle star wide receiver Quincy Cage is on the move from one Southland Conference school to another.
Cage has officially transferred from McNeese to Nicholls. He spent two seasons at McNeese. He redshirted in 2017 and appeared in four games on special teams in 2018, returning a kick against Stephen F. Austin.
At De La Salle, Cage was a first team all-district performer. As a senior, Cage had 531 receiving yards and caught six touchdowns. He also lettered in basketball and baseball for the Cavaliers and was an honor student. As a senior, Cage helped lead the Cavaliers to an unbeaten regular season as De La Salle reached the Division II semifinals.
Cage will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Colonels.
