Charlotte, NC – Kobe Narcisse of First Tee of Greater New Orleans played with 12-time PGA TOUR winner and defending Wells Fargo Championship winner, Jason Day, during the Wells Fargo Championship Pro-Am today at Quail Hallow Club.

Fourteen-year-old Narcisse, who has a 1.4 handicap index, earned the opportunity to select any PGA TOUR player in the Pro-Am field after impressing a national panel of judges in the Wells Fargo and First Tee’s Succeeding Together essay contest.

In his grand-prize winning essay, Narcisse reflected on the confidence he’s learned and gained through participation in First Tee, a youth development program that uses the game of golf to help young people build character. Narcisse had the opportunity to test that very confidence today as he teed up alongside one of the greatest players in the world.

“It was a great experience today,” said Kobe. “A dream of mine.”

“I’ve met a lot of First Tee kids before, but to be able to play with one was exciting,” said Day. “We had a lot of fun out there.”
