Final day CCSL matchup between Cretin Townsend, Gulf Coast to be live streamed Thursday

CCS Prep Summer League

NEW ORLEANS – The final day of the regular season in the Crescent City Sports Summer Prep League is Thursday, and it includes a live stream of the matchup between St. Charles Catholic-based Cretin Townsend Homes and Chalmette-based Gulf Coast Bank & Trust.

Coverage on CCS will begin just prior to the 6:30 p.m. first pitch from Noel Suarez Stadium in Chalmette. Ken Trahan will describe the play-by-play.

Cretin Townsend (10-3-1) have clinched the No. 4 spot in the CCSL standings, earning with it a spot in next week’s tournament at Lutcher. The Cretin Townsend pitching has been the hottest staff in the league, with no-hitters in each of its last two outings Monday and Tuesday.

Gulf Coast (3-8) can finish as high as ninth among the 15 teams playing a full schedule by closing its season with a victory.

Crescent City Sports will also have live streaming coverage of the semifinals and finals July 6-7.

Crescent City Sports is a Kenner-based media company featuring a sports website and video production facilities. The Crescent City Sports team is in its 11th season of producing live broadcasts for television and internet, having produced more than 400 live streams since 2012.
