FIGHT NIGHT RETURNS TO GRETNA — PROFESSIONAL BOXING

BE THERE TO SEE LOCAL AND NATIONAL FIGHTERS ON THEIR WAY TO BOXING ON SHOWTIME, HBO, AND ESPN.

The Main Event will feature Dushane Crooks, from Brooklyn, New York who has an astounding record of 9 wins 1 losses with 5 coming by way of KO. Crooks will be fighting Manjaro Hills Jr. a homestate favorite out of Baton Rouge, La. with a record of 7 wins and 1 loss. This will be one of the best main events in Professional Boxing in Louisiana in a long time.

The Co-Main Event will highlight the skills of a prospect in the Heavyweight Division, Jermarcus Polinan, 8 wins 0 losses, hailing from Athens, Georgia. His opponent Emmanuel Nwodo from Baltimore, Maryland has an outstanding record of 24 wins and 6 losses. This Heavyweight clash will no doubt have the crowd on their feet cheering one of these two to victory.

Curtis “Hardknocks” Johnson Jr. a hometown favorite fighting out of Gretna, Louisiana.  Johnson has an unblemished professional record of 7 wins and 0 losses, 5 of them coming by way of Knockout; will look to keep his record perfect.  Johnson is a former National Amateur Champion.  Johnson will be fighting Saint Clair Murraine from Tallahassee, Florida with a record of 3 wins and 2 losses.  Murraine is looking to spoil Johnson’s undefeated record.

Appearing on the undercard will be boxers from all over such as; Rennard Oliver from Terrytown, La. with a record of 6 wins 0 losses and 2 draws, Kevin Green from New Orleans, La. with a record of 1 win, 0 losses, and 1 draw, Ryan Dinot from St. Bernard, La. making his pro-debut, Frank Sanchez Fure, from Cuba, the former National Amateur Heavyweight Champion will also be making a pro-debut. In attendance will be a special guest Roy Jones Sr. from Pensacola, Florida bringing one of his fighter’s Neller Obregon with a record of 4 wins and 0 losses.
