Fall Baseball: Ragin’ Cajuns to face off against 2014 squad

Admission is free; Ragin’ Cajuns to hold intrasquad games on Friday, Saturday

LAFAYETTE – The 2022 Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Baseball team completes another week of Fall practice on Sunday when it will face the 2014 Ragin’ Cajuns squad at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field at Russo Park.

First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. Admission is free and concessions will be available.

The game against the 2014 team, which recorded a school-record 58 wins and was the consensus No. 1-ranked team nationally, caps off a weekend in which the Ragin’ Cajuns will play a pair of intrasquad scrimmages beginning on Friday. Louisiana will square off on Friday at 3 p.m., before resuming the weekend on Saturday with an intrasquad game at noon.

Louisiana will wrap up Fall practice on Sunday, Nov. 14 when it travels to Baton Rouge to face LSU in an 11 a.m., exhibition at Alex Box Stadium.

The Ragin’ Cajuns will officially open the 2022 season on Feb. 18-20 hosting NCAA Regional finalist UC Irvine (43-18 in 2021) at Russo Park.

Season ticket renewals for Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Baseball are currently underway for the 2022 season.

Season ticket prices have been set for the 2022 season with renewals available at RaginCajuns.com/tickets. Fans wishing to upgrade their tickets can visit RaginCajuns.com/BSBupgrade.

Season tickets require a $100 investment to the RCAF Annual Fund. Premium seat holders will be contacted by the RCAF at a later date regarding renewing premium seating.
