After New Orleans acquired him in a midseaosn trade with San Francisco in 2020, Alexander suffered a torn Achilles in December. He returned to action last season to record 50 tackles, 3.5 sacks and one interception in 12 games.
Alexander was a less of a priority for the Saints as a free agent after the emergence of last year’s second round pick, Pete Werner out of Ohio State.
Set to turn 28 next week, Alexander joins his fourth NFL team after starting his career in Tampa Bay.
