Former LSU linebacker DeMario Tolan, a four-star signee from the ’22 class, has chosen to transfer to Auburn.

The 6-2, 220 pounder had just entered the transfer portal a few days ago. Auburn’s new head coach, Hugh Freeze, immediately made Tolan a priority. The roster needed help in the linebacker room, having lost star Owen Pappoe through graduation.

Tolan made a visit to the Plains before deciding to switch SEC West addresses. He played in 12 games at LSU as a true freshman this past season, contributing 10 tackles.

Auburn is upto six transfer portal additions this offseason.
