EX-LSU CB Eli Ricks arrested for speeding, drug charges

Alabama cornerback Eli Ricks, the former LSU starter who transferred after last season, was arrested Sunday evening for speeding, no insurance and a first-offense possession of marijuana.

The 20-year old was pulled over in Mississippi while headed north toward Tuscaloosa on Interstate 59 near Laurel by state police.

Ricks was the No. 1 rated cornerback in the nation out of IMG Academy in 2020, starting for the Tigers in 2020 and 2021.
