ESPN 100.3 FM to broadcast Holy Cross-John Curtis baseball state semifinal Thursday

NEW ORLEANS – ESPN 100.3 FM in New Orleans will have a live broadcast of Thursday afternoon’s Division I baseball semifinal matchup between District 9-5A rivals Holy Cross and John Curtis Christian from McMurry Park in Sulphur.

Air time for the broadcast is 3:45 p.m., with first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday’s broadcast is presented by Holy Cross School.

In addition to the radio broadcast, the game is available worldwide via ESPN1003.com. A link to the broadcast will also be available at CrescentCitySports.com. Ken Trahan and Jude Young will describe the action.

Holy Cross, the No. 5 seed in the Division I bracket, advanced to the semifinals with a two-game sweep of Brother Martin last weekend, while top-seeded and defending state champion Curtis swept Byrd in the quarterfinals.

Regardless of which team wins Thursday’s game, ESPN 100.3 FM will also broadcast Saturday’s Division I championship game. Air time will be 2:45 p.m., with first pitch coming just after 3 p.m.
