Ernst earns 3rd LPGA Tour win, crosses $4M earnings mark
OCALA, Fla. — Former LSU women’s golfer Austin Ernst has won her third LPGA Tour title after winning the 2021 Drive On Championship Presented by Volvik at Golden Ocala on Sunday afternoon. Ernst shot 15-under over four rounds to win by five strokes.
With the win, Ernst moved past the $4 million career earnings mark to $4,127,272 with the $225,000 she earned for the victory.
Ernst became the first LSU player to win multiple tournaments in an LPGA career back in August 2020. The Drive On Championship is her second Tour win in seven months after she picked up the win at the Walmart Northwest Arkansas Championship in August 2020. Ernst, the 2011 NCAA champion, is the fourth LSU player to win an LPGA event.
The LPGA tour schedule continues on March 25-28 with the KIA Classic in Carlsbad, California.
