Edna Karr’s Devin Bush named Metro Prep Player of the Week
Edna Karr defensive back Devin Bush is the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl/Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation Quarterback Club, CrescentCitySports.com, WGSO 990 AM and Friday Night Football Prep Player of the Week for week 12 of the prep football season.
Bush returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown, had four pass break-ups and was in on five tackles, including one for loss as No 1 Karr downed No. 17 Tioga 49-13 in the second round of the Class 4A state playoffs.
Coached by Brice Brown, Bush will be honored at the year-end meeting of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation Quarterback Club on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Rock’n’Bowl, 3016 South Carrollton Avenue in New Orleans.
The Quarterback Club meets weekly each Tuesday at noon at Rock’n’Bowl with speakers weekly on the New Orleans Saints, LSU, Tulane and prep football, along with wild card speakers.
