The Eastbank 11&12 Softball team is currently set to play in the winner’s bracket of the state Little League bracket game tonight at John Curtis Christian. With a win, they advance to the state championship game Friday morning at 10 a.m.

The Eastbank 11&12 Baseball team opens state tourney play Friday against South Lake Charles at 8 p.m. at John Curtis Lower School. The largest crowd to ever witness a youth baseball game in the New Orleans area is expected on the River Ridge campus.

Both Eastbank teams are comprised of players coming from all over the metro New Orleans area. The league boundary encompasses all of the East Jefferson as well as Lakeview, Mid City and the area near City Park. However, kids come from all over the New Orleans metropolitan area because they are eligible if they attend school within our boundary.

Winners of the softball and baseball state championship games advance to the Little League Southwest Regional in Waco, Texas. The regional games will be broadcast live by the ESPN family of networks.
