Qualifying for a Little League® World Series tournament is no easy feat. The tournaments that result in World Championship games are the culmination of a summer full of practices, games, excitement and anguish.

Only once in the past 10 years has the same league represented their region in both the Little League Baseball® and Little League Softball® World Series in the same season. In 2019, the feat was repeated as the same league represented their region in both Williamsport and Portland.

Eastbank Little League from River Ridge, La., joined the 2009 Warner Robins (Ga.) American Little League teams as the only league in the past decade to accomplish such a rare two-fer. Read more on the feat and the two oustanding youth squads from LittleLeague.org.
