A pair of District 10-3A games highlight the Thursday night prep football schedule.

Coming off a huge win, one of its biggest in the last few years, Douglass returns to action at Pan American Stadium at 3:30 p.m. Thursday against M.L. King Charter (3-6, 0-3).

Douglass (2-3, 2-1) has won two straight games after opening the season with three losses. The Bobcats edged McDonogh 35 in thrilling fashion, winning 27-26 last week on the final play of the game as quarterback Raphael Reed connected with Mike Daliet on a 23-yard touchdown to tie the game and the extra point gave Douglass the victory.

The Jaguars were forced to forfeit three victories previously.

Booker T. Washington (5-1, 3-0) has won four straight games and the Lions look to make it five straight when they battle Abramson Sci Academy (0-5, 0-3) Thursday night at Tad Gormley Stadium at 7 p.m. in a District 10-3A contest.

The Lions shutout M.L. King Charter 40-0 last week and the Lions have been superb, allowing just 36 points in six games. Arnold Barnes has been a big play performer on offense for the Lions.

McDonogh 35 (3-2, 2-1) plays Sophie B. Wright (3-2, 2-1) in the late game at 7:30 p.m. at Pan American Stadium.

In District 8-5A, leader Chalmette (5-1, 5-0) looks to remain unbeaten against Bonnabel (2-3, 2-3) at Joe Yenni Stadium at 6:30 p.m. The Owls have won five straight games.

East Jefferson (3-2, 3-2) faces Higgins (0-5, 0-5) at Hoss Memtsas Stadium at 6:30 p.m.

In District 8-5A, Slidell (3-4, 3-2) plays Fontainebleau (0-6, 0-5) at The Coliseum at Lakeshore at 7 p.m.
