Dolphins use franchise tag on Jarvis Landry
Former LSU and Lutcher High wide receiver Jarvis Landry has caught more passes in his first four NFL season than any player in history.
The Dolphins placed the franchise tag on Landry on Tuesday, the team announced.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported the tag will pay Landry approximately $16 million and is non-exclusive, meaning he’s able to negotiate with other teams, but would cost an outside suitor two first-round draft picks for the right to sign him.
