Demario Davis, Taysom Hill agree to restructured Saints contracts

Saints linebacker Demario Davis and tight end Taysom Hill have agreed to restructed contracts, ESPN’s Field Yates ESPN reported this weekend.
The Saints have restructured the contracts of LB Demario Davis and TE Taysom Hill by converting base salary into a signing bonus, creating $12.724M in 2023 cap space, per source.

As a result, New Orleans freed up $12.724 million in cap space for the 2023 season.
Chosen as an All-Pro for the fourth time in 2022, Davis tallied 106 tackles, 6.5 sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery.

Hill had 96 time carries for 575 yards with seven touchdowns, caught nine passes for 77 yards with two scores and completed 13-of-19 passes for 240 yards with two touchdowns.
Davis and Hill join right tackle Ryan Ramczyk, safeties Tyrann Mathieu and Marcus Maye, center Erik McCoy and kicker Wil Lutz as Saints to have coontracts restructured this offseason.
